Tampa, Fla. (March 2, 2023) – The American Athletic Conference announced Tuesday that USF's Sierra Berry has been named the player of the week.
Berry went 2-0 in singles, helping the Bulls defeat both Stetson and Northwestern.
Against Stetson on Thursday, Berry defeated the Hatters' Alanna DiFrancesco in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6.
On Sunday, USF trailed Northwestern 0-3 before Berry helped spark a comeback. She earned a hard-fought 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win in singles, giving USF its first team point in what resulted in a 4-3 win.
