Tampa, Fla., March 16, 2022 – University of South Florida track and field student-athlete Romaine Beckford earned a spot on the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Second Team All-America team, the organization announced this week.
Beckford (Portland, Jamaica) represented South Florida at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the high jump. He posted a 2.10-meter (6-10.75) leap to finish in 15th in the event.
The 2021 NJCAA Indoor High Jump Champion qualified for the national championships after winning the conference title with a program-record 2.
