WACO, Texas, FEB. 1, 2019– For the second time in three years, USF's No. 43 Alberto Barroso-Campos defeated Baylor's No. 33 Johanne's Schretter. The Bulls ultimately dropped their match to the Bears, 6-1.
Senior Barroso-Campos (Montijo, Spain) battled to three sets against Schretter in the pair's second meeting in three years. Barroso-Campos picked up wins in both matches, with his win this season coming in three sets, handing Schretter his first singles loss of his senior season. Barroso-Campos dropped a 6-3 decision to Schretter in the first set, but won 6-3 in the second.
