Defensive specialist Nikki Koval's defensive prowess continued to grab national attention as the Louisville, Ky. native earned a spot on PrepVolleyball.com's Defensive Dandies Second Team, one of just 13 players honored around the country.
Koval played libero for the 2014 National Champion Mercy Academy Jaguars, leading the team with 697 digs en route to First Team All-Catholic and Second Team All-State honors. Koval's passing percentage led the National Champions, and she finished fourth on her team in aces.
"I'm super excited to add Nikki's talent to our roster," Draper said earlier this spring. "She is extremely quick, has a great platform, and she will give us some much-needed depth in our passing game.
