BIRMINGHAM, Ala., (Nov. 7, 2025) – The University of South Florida volleyball team battled through four hard-fought sets Friday evening but came up short against UAB, 3-1, inside Bartow Arena. The Bulls fell by scores of 25-19, 15-25, 25-21, and 25-23.
Despite the loss, the night was a memorable one for senior outside hitter Maria Clara Andrade, who recorded her 1,500th career kill as part of another standout performance. Andrade led the Bulls with 19 kills, hitting .368 while adding nine digs.
South Florida (14-10, 10-3 American) opened strong, taking the first set 25-19 behind efficient attacking and solid blocking, but UAB found its rhythm over the next three frames.
