Samaritans from all demographics were finding their way Friday to the 24-hour sandbag station behind the Zephyrhills Cinema 10 on Dairy Road.

The place ran out of bags before lunchtime, but retiree Jerry Vizzone dropped off a few boxes of garbage bags around 5 p.m. Moments later, Alexandra Marulanda, mom of four, donated about 20 boxes.

Cadets from the Pasco-Hernando State College's law enforcement academy logged shifts at the sign-in tent.
