TAMPA, JULY 5, 2016 – The University of South Florida baseball program is very visible this summer as 11 Bulls are playing across the country.
Some things that stand out:
Catcher Joe Genord (Lake Worth, Fla.) posted three multi-hit games last week for the Amsterdam Mohawks (Perfect Game Collegiate League). He also notched three doubles and six RBIs since our last update.
Pitcher Andrew Perez (Orlando, Fla.) made his first start of the season for the La Crosse Loggers (Northwoods League). The left-hander yielded just one run in 5.0 innings of work for his first victory (June 29).
