Former South Carolina wide receiver Jerad Washington is following another former Gamecocks wide receiver as he found a destination after transferring.
But he won’t stop being a Gamecock.
Washington is on the roster of FCS power Jacksonville State, whose mascot is also the Gamecocks, according his Twitter account and the Ohio Valley Conference’s official media guide. The Florida product never played a down at USC, and graduated in three and a half years.
He’s not the only former South Carolina player on the team, as wide receiver Shaq Davidson, who left USC after the 2015 season.
