Football: Kurt Roper Fired – Muschamp response to a second straight season of anemic offense was to fire offensive coordinator Kurt Roper at the end of the regular season. In Roper’s two seasons, the Gamecocks finished 13th and 12th in the SEC in total offense. Now McClendon will see if he can give Muschamp the first potent offense of his head coaching career.
