CONWAY -- South Carolina's men’s basketball team woke up from a slow start to eventually ease by Western Michigan 79-66 on Sunday in the HTC Center.
The Gamecocks (4-1), down by as many as 11 in the first half, opened the second half on a 19-5 run. The victory awards Carolina fifth place in this relocated Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament.
USC next travels to Florida International on Nov. 27.
