It wasn’t a surprise South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp would get asked about suspended defensive back Javon Charleston on Thursday as SEC Media Days.
And it wasn’t much of a surprise how he answered.
“He’s still suspended at this time,” Muschamp said. “And I don’t have any other comment.”
Charleston was arrested on assault and burglary charges after an altercation involving a former girlfriend.
The girlfriend has since spoken out about the situation, saying she wants the charges dropped.
Charleston was a walk-on receiver who moved to defense and earned a scholarship.
