The early commitment of three-star defensive end Rodricus Fitten continues a positive trend for South Carolina in Georgia.
Fitten, who announced his commitment to the Gamecocks on Twitter on Wednesday night, became the school’s second 2019 pickup from the Peach State.

Fitten (6 feet 3, 220 pounds), from Atlanta Washington, picked South Carolina over Louisville, North Carolina and Iowa State.
He joins inside linebacker Ahdarrious Gee of Cordele (Ga.) Crisp County in the Gamecocks’ 2019 class. Gee committed to South Carolina in July.
