South Carolina wide receiver Deebo Samuel and linebacker Skai Moore have been cleared in connection with an assault that took place at a Columbia bar last weekend, while a former player has been issued an arrest warrant.
Columbia Police told the Charleston Post and Courier on Saturday that Samuel had been at Five Points Saloon where the assault took place but was not present at the time of the incident. Moore was present at the time but did not participate in it.
Former South Carolina linebacker Jalen Dread remains wanted in connection to the assault after police determined from reviewed surveillance video and conducted interviews that he struck the victim multiple times in the face.
