It’s been one injury after another for Deebo Samuel, but South Carolina’s star wideout has let Gamecocks fans know he’s not finished yet.
Samuel posted a message for fans on Twitter Sunday night, soon after head coach Will Muschamp announced a setback in Samuel’s recovery from a September leg break.
Samuel sustained a high ankle sprain during rehabilitation from the original injury, which he suffered against Kentucky on September 16. Muschamp said that Samuel will not be able to return this season.
Originally, it was believed that Samuel might be able to return for the conclusion of the Gamecocks’ season as well as a bowl game.
