South Carolina women back in action against Rutgers

The Gamecocks handled business against Wofford, 94-60, behind A’ja Wilson’s fourth straight double-double (16 points, 13 rebounds) and another 3-point shooting clinic from Lindsey Spann (3-of-4 for 12 points). South Carolina saw four others reach double figures — starters Alexis Jennings (13), Ty Harris (13) and Doniyah Cliney (10), and Mikiah Herbert Harrigan added 12 off the bench with seven rebounds.

South Carolina travels to Estero, Fla., for the eight-team Gulf Coast Showcase this weekend. The Gamecocks open play against Rutgers, which is also 4-0 to start the season and defeated Wake Forest 65-51 its last time out.
