Last season, our South Carolina Gamecocks took out a No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs squad in a stunner that remains the highlight of Will Muschamp’s career. In 2020, the situation couldn’t be more different, with Muschamp fired and the Gamecocks missing some of the stars that helped them pull off that titanic upset. Of course, it’s also bizarre because USC is playing the wrong rival this Thanksgiving weekend, with the Clemson game called off this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Any matchup against the Dawgs still has plenty of juice, though, so we’ll see what happens when two teams who appear to have found their quarterbacks of the future face off.
