South Carolina will be down its starting point guard when it opens SEC play against Ole Miss.
The Gamecocks announced Sunday that Hassani Gravett will miss the matchup with the Rebels because of a right ankle sprain.
Gravett has started all 12 games for USC (9-3). The junior leads the team in assists and is fifth in scoring.
It’s likely Wes Myers will replace Gravett in the starting lineup.
