For just the third time in 28 seasons, the South Carolina Gamecocks rang up a 3-0 start in the SEC with an 85-75 victory over the visiting Missouri Tigers on Sunday.
Freshman forward Keyshawn Bryant, who flashed potential to this point but had yet to show up big against a Division I foe, enjoyed a breakout performance with 15 points. Veteran big man Chris Silva added 14 and was matched by Felipe Haase, who also played his best game of the season thus far. Not to be outdone, the surprisingly reliable Hassani Gravett added 12 points off the bench for the Gamecocks.
