South Carolina football received a bit of good news on the recruiting trail Tuesday as four-star defensive end Deonte Anderson included the Gamecocks in his top six schools. Anderson made the announcement on Twitter, with a note that read “Top 6… RESPECT MY DECISION…“
It appears as though the Gamecocks will go head to head with Central Florida, Gerogia Tech, Mississippi State, Nebraska, and Penn State for Anderson’s services. The defender from Fort Meade High School is rated by 247 Sports as the 14th best defensive end prospect, and the 202nd best player in the nation, regardless of position.
