The South Carolina football team landed a commitment at a position of need.
The Gamecocks landed a Christmas day commitment from junior college cornerback Isaiah Norris on Friday evening, adding a player to the thinnest position room on the team. South Carolina has seen six defensive backs opt out of the program through either intentions to transfer or professional football aspirations.
Norris adds much needed depth to a secondary that has only four scholarship players with in-game action.
Originally from Anderson, SC, Norris attended Georgia Military College in Milledgeville.
