Just a week after South Carolina football commitment Matthew Fuller was bumped up to a 4-star by On3 (he was already a 4-star running back according to ESPN), fellow 4-star Gamecock running back target Braylen Russell was set to announce his commitment.
Russell, a Denton, Arkansas native, was previously committed to Arkansas and was set to decide from a final three of South Carolina, Arkansas, and Tennessee (who just got busted by the NCAA for a massive cheating scandal).
The 240-pound brick house of a running back has connections to all three schools, including that he was recruited to Arkansas by current South Carolina football offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains.
