Where did the South Carolina football team’s signal caller land on the list?
The first week of the year saw some great performances from SEC signal callers, including a record setting day from a newcomer in Starkville. Of the league’s 14 starting quarterbacks, nine threw for 200 yards or more. The Georgia Bulldogs also got a 200-yard game, albeit from a reserve in Stetson Bennett, who took over for struggling freshman D’Wan Mathis in Georgia’s win over Arkansas.
