South Carolina is out two defensive backs – one for the Outback Bowl and one for good.
Freshman Jamyest Williams, who started this season as the nickel back, had shoulder surgery after the regular season and is out for the bowl game. He will be back for the 2018 season.
Williams started six games this season as a true freshman. He made 38 tackles with a pair of interceptions and a pass breakup.
