The South Carolina basketball team picked up a commitment from a local guard prospect over the weekend.
Jabari Wright of Greenville, SC pledged his commitment to Frank Martin and the Gamecocks over the weekend. He made the announcement public by posting on his Twitter page. He becomes the second member of the 2021 recruiting class, joining Miami shooting guard Devin Carter.
Wright chose the Gamecocks over offers from Charlotte, College of Charleston, DePaul, Elon, and Winthrop. He’s rated by 247Sports as a three-star prospect and the 191st best player in the 2021 class.
