The South Carolina basketball team has added a new opponent to the 2020-21 non-conference schedule. First reported by Jon Rothstein, the Gamecocks will travel to the nation’s capital to take on George Washington University in December.
The matchup comes as part of a series that’s taken place over the last two seasons. Frank Martin’s crew hosted the Colonials in Columbia last year, a season after the two teams met at a neutral site in 2018.
