South Carolina head baseball coach Mark Kingston made his new coaching staff official on Wednesday.
Mike Current will join the Gamecocks after previously working with Kingston at South Florida, while Jerry Meyers is being retained as pitching coach after working under former head coach Chad Holbrook. In addition, Stuart Lake will return as a volunteer assistant coach and camp coordinator.
Kingston also announced that Trip Couch has been named Director of Player Development, and Tyson Lusk has been retained as the Director of Baseball Operations.
“We are very excited to announce our baseball staff moving forward with South Carolina Baseball,” Kingston said.
