The Gamecocks’ offense was yet again unimpressive on Sunday, as USC was shut out by the Bulldogs, who also walked away with a series sweep.
The game was scoreless until the fourth inning, when Georgia took a 2-0 lead on an RBI double and a sac fly. A walk and a pair of wild pitches also helped them out, which was an unfortunate trend seen in all three games this weekend.
The only other run of the game was scored by the Bulldogs in the seventh inning thanks to another sac fly.
