COLUMBIA — For Frank Martin, the night after South Carolina’s final regular-season home game promised to be a restless one.
The Gamecocks not only dropped a 74-72 decision to Georgia which eliminated them from the SEC championship race, they also faced a two-day turnaround before a regular-season finale Saturday at Arkansas which now looms as critical to their postseason hopes.
“I’ve got to disengage from this game, I’ve got to go home, probably be up all night trying to figure out how to handle (Friday),” USC’s head coach said following the Georgia loss Thursday night. “How to handle our team.
