Whew. Where to begin.
Passing game: Jake Bentley had a horrible, no good, very bad day, finishing just 16-of-29 passing for 126 yards and two awful interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. It wasn’t all on play design or his teammates’ execution, either --- he had plenty of open receivers, and some pretty clean pockets to work with as well. It was, to say the least, very unfortunate that Bentley was so incredibly off in the biggest game of the year. This has been an up-and-down season for him, and I think even his most ardent defenders would have to officially consider it a sophomore slump.
