Heading into their SEC East showdown this weekend in Lexington, the South Carolina Gamecocks are slight 1.5-point underdogs the the 17th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats.
The line has seen a lot of movement in just a few days, as it initially opened in favor of South Carolina, tabbing the Gamecocks as 1-point favorites before the trends turned toward the hometown team. In some books, Kentucky was favored by as much as 2 points, but the consensus has settled around that 1.5-point margin.
The Wildcats, fresh off their impressive 28-7 win over a then-Top 15 Mississippi State team, have rejoined the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2007.
