Former South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore, whose career was ended by a knee injury suffered against Tennessee in 2012, took part in the school’s “ring ceremony” at Colonial Life Arena on Tuesday. Next week, he will receive a degree in public health.
Earlier this month, the NCAA ruled that Lattimore could not join Will Muschamp’s support staff. The NCAA said Lattimore’s work with his personal foundation and participation in off-campus camps could serve as an unfair recruiting advantage for the Gamecocks.
