How much will Deebo Samuel practice this spring? | The State

South Carolina’s Deebo Samuel “has been cleared” for Wednesday’s opening of spring practice, but how much the star wide receiver will participate is an open question.

“I’m extremely proud of how he has approached the offseason program and how he’s worked,” head coach Will Muschamp said, “and we’re going to gradually move him through spring as he sees fit, but he’s been cleared and looks good.”

Samuel had 474 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns last year despite not finishing the third game of the season. He missed the rest of the season due to a broken leg and later a foot injury.
