The South Carolina defense just made a meaningful roster upgrade on the interior line. Georgia transfer Jordan Thomas, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound defensive tackle, has committed to the Gamecocks after visiting campus, first reported by GamecockCentral. Thomas is a former four-star standout from Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J., who was firmly on South Carolina’s recruiting radar coming out of high school. The Gamecocks did not hesitate to lock him in once he hit the Transfer Portal.
