The South Carolina Gamecocks looked at Saturday’s game against Georgia as a measuring stick. It appears they still have a long way to go to be a player in the SEC.
The game could not have started any worse as quarterback Jake Bentley threw an interception on the 4th play of the game. The play resulted in a touchdown, as Georgia’s Juwan Taylor technically scored on a fumble recovery due to Deandre Baker letting go of the ball prior to crossing the goal line.
The Gamecocks attempted to keep the game interesting early on as they were able to capitalize off of some nifty play calling.
