Gamecocks hoping to get these freshmen in a few weeks early

The University of South Carolina’s schedule offers the particular quirk of the Maymester, a three-week period of classes between the end of the spring semester and the star of full summer classes.

The Gamecocks football team is hoping to take advantage of that and get a few more players on campus a little early.

USC coach Will Muschamp said the staff is working through details of possibly getting a pair of 2019 recruits on campus soon for the Maymester set to start in two weeks.
