Across sports and around the country, people connected to South Carolina are gearing up for A’ja Wilson’s Senior Night on Thursday.
That includes two huge names in USC men’s basketball: coach Frank Martin and former star Sindarius Thornwell.
Late Wednesday night, Thornwell, now a guard for the Los Angeles Clippers, tweeted out a message for Wilson, repeatedly calling her the “GOAT,” for greatest of all time, and praising her for her storied career with the Gamecocks.
“From the time she stepped on campus she’s been nothing but great,” Thornwell wrote.
