Aisha Taylor was appointed to the SC Workers' Compensation Commission in 2013. Before serving on the Commission, she was a shareholder at Collins & Lacy, P.C., practicing primarily in workers' compensation defense and employment law.

Aisha Taylor is a University of South Carolina legend. The captain of the 2002 NCAA women's track and field national championship team and a four-year SEC Scholar-Athlete, she now holds the title of Commissioner, South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission. It was her tenacity and constant quest for greatness that got her there. But don't get it twisted: Her path came with bumps along the road.
