Five-star defensive lineman Jordan Burch delivered Will Muschamp a recruiting victory that he and the South Carolina program desperately needed, choosing to stay home and pledging for the Gamecocks on Wednesday.
Burch, the highest-rated recruit in South Carolina, chose USC over the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and LSU.
The Hammond product checks in at No. 5 overall in 247 Sports’ composite rankings and is also an Under Armour All-American. With his commitment, he’s easily the headliner of the Gamecocks’ 2020 recruiting class.
