Frank Martin couldn’t land local product Clyde Trapp yesterday, but he was able to add to a growing stable of big men coming into the program next year. Felipe Haase, a Chile native out of Miami Christian in Florida, has committed to the Gamecocks, according to recruiting guru Adam Zagoria.
Haase, a 6’8”, 250-pound forward, originally committed to Colorado State in May. However, he went on to reopen his recruitment in September, with Mizzou and Pitt in the mix along with the Gamecocks and Purdue. He took an official visit to Columbia this past weekend and made his final decision on Thursday morning.
