In the course of four days, Stillmore defensive end Curtis Fann Jr. went from having zero college prospects to becoming one of the fastest rising recruits in the southeast.
Since the South Carolina Gamecocks became the first to offer the 6-foot-3, 245 pound defensive end on Monday, four other schools have entered the mix, highlighted by Auburn and Alabama.
“They both were huge offers,” Fann said of the SEC West rivals. “Two powerhouse schools and they both develop great defensive lineman, which is really good. I spoke to coach Kevin Steele from Auburn and I’m going to get in touch with Coach [Jeremy] Pruitt from Bama today.
