For his first year in the division one ranks, Eldridge Thompson is already a seasoned player. He spent three years at Coffeyville C.C. in the acclaimed Jayhawk JUCO conference where fellow Gamecocks Ulric Jones and Steven Montac also played their JUCO ball.
But two of those three years were spent sidelined for injury. His first year in Coffeyville he was redshirted due to an ankle injury and last season he missed time with a shoulder injury.
