Big game from Guice lifts LSU; Ta’amu, Ole Miss crush UL Lafayette

After an uninspired first half that ended in a 7-7 tie, the host Tigers (7-3 overall, 4-2 in the SEC) dominated the second half to pull away from the Razorbacks (4-6, 1-5). Derrius Guice rushed for 147 yards and three TDs, with all three scores coming in the second half. Danny Etling threw for 217 yards and two TDs – a 45-yarder to D.J. Chark in the first half and a 68-yarder to Chark on the first play of the fourth quarter that gave LSU a 26-10 lead and put the game away.
