JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- They began this passion play - otherwise known as the Georgia-Florida (or Florida-Georgia) game - here by the St. Johns River in 1933.

The idea was to give the fans from both schools a chance to get in one last vacation before the realities of the holiday season set in. And so it has been for 85 years as fans still flock to North Florida early in the week to stay at the same condos, eat at the same restaurants, and play the same golf courses each year. It's a wonderful tradition.
