South Carolina has lost four straight games for the first time in three years.
Arkansas on Tuesday became the latest USC opponent to drop the Gamecocks. The hard-pressing Razorbacks dictated pace en route to a 81-65 victory at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.
USC is 13-11 overall and 4-7 in the SEC. Arkansas improved to 16-8 and 5-6.
Carolina trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half and couldn’t get any closer than 12 in the final 10 minutes. The Gamecocks missed nine of their first 11 shots in the second half, allowing opening period momentum to slip away.
