A'ja Wilson left South Carolina's 71-63 win over Auburn Thursday night with a right ankle injury.
South Carolina coach Dawn Staley said Wilson sprained her ankle after stepping on someone's foot and would probably need a day off from practice to get ready to face No. 6 Tennessee on Sunday.
"We'll see how it is," Staley said. "She could probably take a day off and still play."
Wilson came down hard under her own basket with 16 seconds left in the game and hobbled over to the corner of the court. Team trainers helped her off and she went right to the locker room.
