MOBILE, Ala. – Seven individuals have signed National Letters-of-Intent Wednesday and will be the foundation of the first-ever University of South Alabama football recruiting class under new head coach Kane Wommack.
Included in the group are a pair of junior-college transfers as well as five high school seniors who just concluded their prep careers.
Both Trey Kiser (Sulphur, Okla.) and Lincoln Sefcik (Enid, Okla.) are coming to South from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M J.C., with the class also including Jason Brooks (Mobile, Ala.), Cole Daniels (Sumrall, Miss.), Dalton Hughes (Tupelo, Miss.), Edward Smith IV (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) and Jay'juan Townsend (Eufaula, Ala.
