ROME, Ga.- The South Alabama Women's Tennis team's season came to a close in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament as they fell to James Madison in a 4-1 final Friday morning.
The Jaguars engaged in a tight battle with the Dukes in doubles. South got some momentum early as Lara van der Merwe and Manal Ennaciri defeated their opposition 6-3 in the #3 position. Chems Doha Zeghlouli and Kenza Elakili came up just short in delivering the Jaguars the doubles point as they fell to their opponents in a 7-5 defeat.
