WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DROPS HOME CONTEST TO LITTLE ROCK

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's basketball team (15-7, 8-3 SBC) had a five-game home win streak snapped by the Little Rock Trojans (15-8, 12-0 SBC), 47-35, on Saturday at the Mitchell Center. The loss was the first at home since Dec. 21 against UAB.

Chyna Ellis lead the Jags with 14 points and eight rebounds. The senior center shot 6-of-14 from the field.

Antoinette Lewis had 10 points on a 4-for-8 shooting night. The freshman forward also grabbed six boards and rejected a game-high three shots.

Little Rock was led by Yanina Inkina and Ronjanae DeGray.
