MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama baseball outfielder Ethan Wilson attended the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft Combine in North Carolina June 24-25.
Wilson was one of 76 collegiate student-athletes out of the 167 Draft-eligible participants at the combine, which was held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C., and the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, N.C.
The combine provided an opportunity for participants to undergo a series of medical and performance assessments, as well as educational programming designed to prepare them for a professional baseball career.
"I got an invitation, and I talked with my parents and we decided that it was a really good opportunity for me," Wilson said.
