DURHAM, N.C. – University of South Alabama baseball outfielder Ethan Wilson was named First-Team Freshman All-America by Baseball America on Friday.
It marks the third organization to honor Wilson as a Freshman All-American after he earned First-Team Freshman All-America accolades from Collegiate Baseball and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Wilson was also named the Co-National Freshman of the Year by Collegiate Baseball, Third-Team All-America by Collegiate Baseball and Third-Team All-America by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings, as well as being a First-Team All-Central Region and First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection.
